Reicker Pfau Partner Robert Forouzandeh Prevails in Easement Dispute

Reicker Pfau partner Robert Forouzandeh prevailed in a real estate matter representing Plaintiffs Saticoy Development Company, LLC and the Michael Johnson and Christina Johnson Family Trust. Santa Barbara Superior Court Judge Donna Geck found for Plaintiffs on all ten causes of action–a complete victory in response to the Third Amended Complaint filed by Mr. Forouzandeh.

The case involved a land use dispute regarding a historical easement between two properties. Reicker Pfau’s clients had been using the easement for over 40 years to access water from a natural spring for their property. The Court found the 1976 easement valid and enforceable, allowing Plaintiffs to continue to access the water indefinitely.

In addition to the highly favorable ruling, Mr. Forouzandeh settled a motion for attorneys’ fees and costs in his client’s favor.
