Jake is a transactional attorney whose practice spans mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and land use concerns. He represents businesses, investors, and entrepreneurs in complex deals and provides ongoing advise on operational, regulatory, and strategic business and investment matters.
Jake serves as outside counsel to a range of clients — from early-stage founders to established real estate professionals — advising on commercial contracts, intellectual property protection and licensing, and day-to-day legal issues. His real estate practice includes acquisitions and dispositions, commercial and residential leasing, financing, and syndication.
With a background in economics and a J.D. from UCLA School of Law, Jake brings a practical, analytical approach to every engagement, guiding his clients through transactions with clarity and confidence. Jake is committed to supporting the next generation of business leaders on the Central Coast.
Away from the law, Jake is with plants. He manages his gardens at his home in Ojai using principles of permaculture and regenerative agriculture to cultivate citrus and other crops and botanicals. He is an avid home chef, outdoorsman, traveler, and athlete.
